Stubborn Worm

Its been a bit of a buggy week this week.

This is a very strange name for a beetle, apparently because it looks like a fat worm!  Its Latin name is Capnodis tenebrionis.  This one landed on our roof terrace, here in Turkey.  It was about 2cm long, dark brown in colour, with white spots and small corkscrew shaped antenna.  Their larvae attack fruit trees, which is not too good around this area, as this area is one of the main fruit growing regions.
