Views Around Dilek Peninsula National Park

Just down the road from us on the Aegean Coast of Turkey is the beautiful scenery of the Dilek Peninusla National Park (Milli Park) covering 28,000 hectares of beaches, mountains and valleys.

The first of four beaches and the only sandy beach.

Quite an impressive view for a bus/dolmuĊŸ stop.

It doesn't matter what time of year you visit you will always see something different.  We have been several times but have never seen these trees with blossom on.

When I am taking photos I always try to look for a different angle.

One of the viewing platforms to be found on the beaches, I have never been brave enough to venture up one of these yet!

Wood and stones always create interesting photos.

There is a small track that runs parallel with the beach and this time of year is often flooded, which creates some interesting shots.

Beach No 3 has a very impressive old tree by the waters edge that has weathered and now resembles a very large piece of drift wood which makes for some lovely photos.

I love the way this tree stump has been used to create a sink that blends into the environment.

There are some very tall pine trees lining this beach, creating some lovely well needed shade in the summer.

There were a small group of people making use of the peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings for some reflection and meditation.

A new meaning to water slide!

I turned these next two reflections shot around as they look like pieces of modern art.
