Little Egret - Egretta Garzetta Garzetta

The Little Egret, a small white Heron,  is a common visitor to the Aegean shores of Turkey.  The average size of an adult Little Egret is 55-65 cm long, with a wingspan of 88-106 cm.  They have white plumage, long black legs and yellow feet.  Juveniles have greenish-black legs and duller yellow feet, so this one may be a juvenile.

I was very lucky the other day to come across one that was busy watching some small fish that were swimming close to shore so I was able to creep up fairly close to get these shots.
