I have always loved taking photos and sharing them with anybody that is interested. I am interested in nature and history and like to research the subject of the shots that I come away with. My current camera is an Olympus Stylus 1s.

I took this photo one May day around mid morning. The ring is formed when lunar or solar light passes through ice crystals. Some rings are just white in colour or like this one with red on the inside changing to blue and white on the outside. They have been associated with predicting rain but this is not guaranteed.
