European Goldfinch

Every year the cafe down by the beach where we live in Turkey, has a very impressive display of sunflowers around the edge of the garden and every year we get a lot of European Goldfinch's visit them to feed on the seeds.  I think they are lovely birds with their flashes of yellow on the wings and red, black and white heads.  I love watching them clinging onto the rocking heads of the sunflowers as they feed.
