I have always loved taking photos and sharing them with anybody that is interested. I am interested in nature and history and like to research the subject of the shots that I come away with. My current camera is an Olympus Stylus 1s.

I took this photo along the promenade in Sheringham, Norfolk, England. Tide clocks keep track of the average time between the high and low tides. Louis Schelling and Andrew Marvel developed the first Tide Clocks in 1971. Tides have an inherant lead or lag which varies depending on the location around the coast, so each clock has to be set for when the local lunar high tide occurs and has to be reset periodically.
